9. Third-Party Integrations and Connected Accounts

The Service may connect to third-party platforms and services at your direction, including accounting software such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, to synchronize business data between systems. When you authorize a third-party integration, we may access and retrieve data from that platform as necessary to provide the integration functionality you have enabled.

Data accessed through integrations

Depending on the integration and the permissions you grant, we may access information such as customer records, invoices, product and service listings, vendor information, and other business data from your connected accounts. This data is used solely for the purpose of synchronizing records between Botson and the connected platform and providing the features you have enabled.

How we use integration data

  • Data retrieved from connected third-party platforms is used only to provide the integration features you authorized
  • We do not sell, rent, or share data obtained through third-party integrations with any additional third parties
  • We do not use data from connected accounts for advertising, data mining, or any purpose unrelated to the Service
  • Integration data is stored using the same security measures described in Section 5 of this policy

Disconnecting integrations

You may disconnect any third-party integration at any time through your account settings. Upon disconnection, we will immediately stop accessing data from the disconnected platform. Previously synchronized data that has been incorporated into your Botson account (such as synced customer records) will be retained in accordance with our standard data retention practices described in Section 6, unless you request its deletion.

Third-party privacy practices

The Service may also contain links to third-party websites or services not operated by us. Each third-party platform has its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before authorizing any integration or providing personal information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms.
